These are the terms and conditions for the website www.translatedock.com. This website and its owning company, Nuremeer NG Limited, based in Lagos, Nigeria, own all of the copyright material that is displayed on this website and all of its content. This content is not to be otherwise shared or distributed.
By using or browsing this website then you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions that are outlined below. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions then please do not use this website.
We offer a professional translation service for the translation of documents across a range of different industries and languages. In order to use these services then you must first register for an account with the website. Without an account you will not be able to use any of the translation services that we offer. Our services work by connecting customers with translators who are equipped to translate specific documents.
Intended use of translation services
Before using the service all clients must clearly indicate in writing what the intended use of the translation will be.
Unless it is otherwise stated in writing, all translations provided by www.translatedock.com are for information and understanding purposes only and will be provided of a high enough standard for use in any general correspondence.
Unless otherwise specified, the translation provided will be the final document and will not be edited any further by the client. The translations provided should not be used for any of the following purposes:
- Legal contracts, insurance or patents.
- Printing or publication
- Any other commercial use of the text
If a client wished to use a translation for any other reason other than the original purpose specified then they must first obtain permission from www.translatedock.com in writing and receive confirmation that the translation is suitable for this purpose. The company reserves the right to amend or adapt the translation at the cost of the client if this is required for the translations new purpose.
In cases where the purpose of the translation is not disclosed to the company, then the company shall proceed with the translation as if it were for information purposes only. Any further amendments will come at a cost to the client.
Quotes and payments
No quotations are binding until they have been confirmed by the company and the client. All quotations are given on the basis of the source material which is provided by the client. Quotations may be amended at any time if, at our sole discretion, the description of the source materials is inaccurate.
All payments are paid through Visa transactions which are all processed securely on the website. Payments must be received in full before the translation work can begin. Once this is done, payments will be displayed on the users statement by the descriptor NUREMEER NGL.
The failure to pay an invoice will result in the suspension of the work.
Completion dates and delivery
The company will give a delivery date for the project which is offered in three different tiers:
- 5-7 Business days
- 24 Hours
- 12 Hours
The company will always make every effort to meet the deadlines but will not be liable to make good any damages whether these arise directly or indirectly out of their failure to meet estimated delivery dates. While the company will make all reasonable efforts to meet the client’s requirements then late delivery will not entitle a client to withhold payment.
All deliveries are sent electronically via email.
Cancellations and Refunds
If the client cancels the work that has been commissioned then all charges will be payable for the work completed up to the cancellation date as well as all other costs which may be incurred as a result of a cancellation.
Refund of payment for work will only be considered under rare circumstances.
1. A refund may be requested if no work has begun on the translation project.
2. If the translation work has not been delivered within the agreed time frame.
3. If the finished translation differs greatly from the source material.
To the maximum extent permitted by law the company shall have no liability to the client for any loss of profit, loss of business or loss of revenue or any indirect or consequential loss which arises in connection with the translation order.
While the company shall always endeavour to provide an accurate and idiomatic translation of the original text the client must accept that a translation may read differently from original writing and accordingly the company shall not be liable for any impact this could have.
The client warrants that the required translation does not infringe with any copyright or other proprietary rights and does not contain anything that is obscene, blasphemous or libellous. It shall indemnify the company in respect of all actions claims and proceedings as well as any costs or damages which have been incurred by any breach of such warranty.
